Dear Folks,
We were inspired and enriched by attendance last weekend
at our parish mission. We are members of St. Augustine Church here
in Thomasville, Georgia. In the ten years that I have been here
I've not witnessed such enthusiasm and interest. Mr. Ambrosetti
is so filled with the love of his God that it flows into each heart
he touches.
Our pastor, Father Victor Seidel asked if I could handle
the sale of the CDs, tapes and music before and after each session
and mass. I believe each family now owns at least one of the beautiful
tapes. But my main purpose in writing is to ask if the ministry
has considered a taping of music specific to children? Our parish
is comprised of few "cradle Catholics" - many of our members are
converts to Catholicism. Following the final session of our mission,
a young boy approached the table on which the music for sale was
displayed. He searched each tape and then asked "Which one has the
song he taught us about our big hears and little feet?" I promised
him I would write and inquire if there is a recording or maybe "one
in the works". May your efforts be blessed. I pray the ministry
will return to our area soon.

Dear Vince,
I'm so glad I was visiting Florida during your mission at Our Lady
of Hope Church. It was beautiful. In my 75 years, I do not believe
I ever felt so close to our Lord. The music, singing and message
were inspiring.
Love,

Vince,
...Not only was my heart awakened (through your mission), but it
was opened to receive God's love - something I thought could never
happen. I had been away from the Church and God for a long time
and was trying to find my way back....Your song, "Be Still" became
my song. Somehow it made me realize that God was never far from
me, that He would, and did, welcome me back...
With many warm hugs,

Dear Vince,
The three nights of the mission
were truly inspiring. The way in which you wove music and the spoken
word together gave just the right touch to a truly prayerful atmosphere.
(Everything was) thoughtfully constructed to give everyone who attended
a sense of participation. Most people are used to some member of
the clergy conducting such a Mission. In your pioneering effort
to bring lay people into this ministry, your knowledge, spiritual
depth, devotion and gift of music will go a long way to opening
the doors for more of our lay ministers to do the same.
Gratefully yours in the Lord,
John W. Glorie, (Rev. Msgr.)

Dear Vince,
...Just a short note to let you know how much we appreciate your
days spent at St. Mary's in Williamstown, NJ. It was a delightful
and enlightening experience and many people will never forget it
(including Alek, my 13-year-old!) I myself now have some different
views and thoughts - thanks to you and what your music conveys.
God's Blessings!

Dear Vince,
...There is no doubt in my mind that the mission we experienced
here at St. John's was one of the greatest parish missions I have
ever experienced. From the moment you arrived, there was a kind
of electricity in the air that built and built and seemed to energize
the parish as few other experiences have. I knew on Sunday evening
that you had done the impossible: brought our people out! The candlelight
service on Monday evening was a beautiful event that people still
talk about. The Penance service on Tuesday certainly changed my
mind (and others) about large Penance services. And Wednesday was
an inspiring climax to the mission, and ending that was thrilling
and yet one that I wanted to go on and on...
Sincerely yours in Christ,
